About Me and My Reiki Journey
Hello, beautiful souls. My name is Chantel, and I am a Reiki Master Teacher. By day, I work in finance, but my heart is drawn to healing and intuitive work through Reiki and tarot readings. Like many of you, I once found myself searching for peace, clarity, and a deeper sense of connection. Reiki became the light that helped guide me, and now I feel called to share its healing energy with others.
Reiki came into my life at a time when I needed it most. I’ve always felt connected to energy, but it wasn’t until I experienced my first Reiki session that everything started to make sense. At that moment, I knew this was something I was meant to offer to the world.
Even as a child, I was fascinated by the unseen—drawn to the mysteries of energy long before I had the words to explain it. In my early adulthood, I would jokingly tell my loved ones I had ‘superpowers’ to heal with my energy. Looking back, I realize this was a small glimpse of the truth. As Reiki practitioners, we don’t create the healing energy; we simply act as channels, allowing it to flow from a higher power to where it’s needed most. Reiki is guided by this divine wisdom, always working for the highest good of each individual.
Today, I feel more connected than ever to this path of healing and transformation. Alongside Reiki, I offer tarot readings to provide insight and guidance for those seeking clarity on their journey. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing space where healing and self-discovery naturally unfold. Both Reiki and tarot have brought so much beauty into my life, and it’s a gift I feel honored to share.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle yet powerful Japanese healing technique that promotes balance and relaxation. The word "Reiki" translates to "Universal Energy" (‘Rei’ meaning universal and ‘Ki’ meaning life force energy). Through light touch or no-touch techniques, Reiki supports the body’s natural ability to heal itself, releasing stress, tension, and energetic blockages.
In our daily lives, it’s easy to become stuck in "fight or flight" mode, where stress and worry take center stage. This prevents the body from truly resting and healing. Reiki shifts you into a more relaxed state, where your nervous system can reset, and your energy can flow freely again. It’s a deeply nurturing process that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual layers of our being.
What to Expect in a Session with Me
I believe each Reiki session is unique, and I trust the energy to guide me in offering exactly what you need. Here’s a little glimpse into what a session might look like:
- Intake & Connection: When you arrive, we’ll begin with a relaxed conversation. I’ll ask about your current state—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This is a space for you to express what feels present, whether it’s physical discomfort, emotional heaviness, or simply a desire for more balance. I’ll also explain a bit about how Reiki works, and we’ll set an intention for your session.
- The Session: You’ll lie fully clothed on a comfortable table with shoes off, and I’ll guide you into a state of relaxation through breathwork and light grounding techniques. From there, I’ll gently place my hands either lightly on or just above different areas of your body, depending on what feels best for you. Each position allows the Reiki energy to flow, dissolving blockages and encouraging harmony.
- Closing & Integration: At the end of the session, I’ll gently guide you back to full awareness and offer water or tea to help you ground. We’ll take a moment to discuss anything that came up during the session, and I’ll share any tools or practices that may support your continued healing. My goal is for you to leave feeling lighter, more centered, and empowered with a deeper understanding of your own energy.
Sometimes during sessions, I receive intuitive messages or sensations that reflect what your body or spirit is holding. If this happens, I’m always happy to share these insights in a way that feels gentle and supportive. The experience is deeply calming, and many people describe it as entering a meditative, dream-like state.
